SLG Gains Affiliate Company Zeller

The St. Louis Group has been a supplier of flame retardants and smoke suppressants since 2010. Over the course of the last eight years, we have come to realize that our customers require other chemical additives to create the best products for end use. Wanting to improve our customer experience, we decided to build and develop a new line of products to serve our current markets and to grow into other markets as well. We are incredibly excited to welcome our new company, Zeller. Zeller offers a line of antioxidants and light stabilizers with clarifiers, custom masterbatches, and dispersions available upon request. We are excited to introduce this line to you and hope it will further your experience with us.

Our antioxidant line includes phenolic, phosphite, thioester, amine, metal deactivators, and blends that serve various industries and needs to get the correct protection for your end product. Antioxidants trap free radicals and oxidation intermediates like peroxides. Antioxidants and Antioxidant blends are suitable for high-temperature processing. Each classification works a bit differently depending on the material and end use. Our team is equipped to help discuss the best options for you and your needs. Visit our Antioxidants page to view our line of Z-NOX products.

The Zeller line of light stabilizers includes hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), UVA’s, and blends. Developed with the customer in mind, our line serves multiple industries from thermoplastics to coatings and adhesives. Light stabilizers work differently than antioxidants; they compete for the light that damages polymers by photo-oxidation and slow polymer degradation. Often, antioxidants and light stabilizers are paired together to give the most protection to a product as possible. To see our full line of Z-LITE products, visit our Light Stabilizers page.

We at the St. Louis Group and Zeller Polymer Solutions hope that you can find products that serve your needs with the service you deserve. Chinese Ethylene Glycol Antimony Market Sees Stable Transactions

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Feb 18 – Currently, mainstream transaction prices for Chinese ethylene glycol antimony 57%min hold at RMB45,000-46,000/t (USD7,146-7,305/t), basically unchanged from last week. Insiders gradually enter into the Spring Festival holiday state, so market participants anticipate that prices for Chinese ethylene glycol antimony would be unlikely to change in the coming days.

An agent in South China claimed, “now the lowest price for the ethylene glycol antimony we can accept is RMB45,000/t (USD7,146), almost unchanged from last week.” They sold around 15t of the material at this price last week and believe that insiders gradually leave the market for holiday, so the market would be hard to change before the Spring Festival.

With a regular sale volume of 100tpm for ethylene glycol antimony, the source sold around 120t in January, up by about 30t from December, and holds about 100t of stocks now.

Another producer in South China explained that they refuse to sell at prices below RMB45,500/t (USD7,226/t) for ethylene glycol antimony, basically unchanged from last week. “They sold around 20t of the material at RMB45,500/t (USD7,226/t) last week,” the source said, expecting that the market would move stably before the Spring festival due to lower market participation.

With an annual capacity of 1,200t for ethylene glycol antimony, the source produced around 100t in January, basically unchanged from December, and holds less than 100t of stocks now.
