BroShield®

St. Louis Group is an established & viable supplier of brominated flame retardants. We are a domestic manufacturer of brominated polyols and blends. Specialty dispersions and masterbatches are available upon request.

  • BroShield® 68-B is an effective halogenated flame retardant for UL 94 V-2 & V-O poyolefins. It is also very useful in coatings, adhesives, and fabric back-coatings.

  • BroShield® 70-B is suitable for applications such as PP and HIPS to reach UL 94 V-2. It displays outstanding UV and light stability, and the high melting temperature permits production of highly filled master batch concentrates. It is also suitable for ABS, XPS, Alloys, and adhesives, including construction and electronics applications.

  • BroShield® BPS-30 features exceptional thermal and hydrolytic stability. Its excellent electric properties and non-blooming characteristics make it especially useful in engineering resins, primarily polyesters and polyamides. Compared to other brominated polystyrenes, BroShield® BPS-30 features superior flow properties allowing for improved processing characteristics.

  • BroShield® BPS-70 HP has exceptional thermal and hydrolytic stability. Its excellent electric properties and non-blooming characteristics make it especially useful in engineering resins, primarily polyesters and polyamides.

  • BroShield® 45-B is a high performance liquid flame retardant plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, elastomers, and coatings.

  • BroShield® 54-B is an efficient flame retardant that is characterized by low viscosity and volatility, making it suitable for flexible PVC, flexible and rigid polyurethane foams, FRP, thermoset, adhesives, sealants, and coatings.

  • BroShield® 550 is an efficient liquid flame retardant for polyurethane foam. This product has superior scorch resistance and reduces center softening in high resilience foam. Foams made with this product retain good IFD and compression set properties.

  • BroShield® RB4 is a high purity tetrabromophthalic anhydride reactive flame retardant.
