SmokeShield® ZB8 is a large particle sized zinc borate smoke suppressant for halogenated polymers, particularly PVC, acting in the condensed phase as a charformer. It also acts as a flame retardant synergist and a partial replacement of antimony oxide in many thermoplastic and thermoset applications.
